2015 Conference Registration Open
Registration is now open for the 2015 NLHLA Conference and AGM, which will take place on Friday, April 17 at Memorial University.
We have a great program planned, and we hope you can join us! The registration deadline is Monday, April 13.
If you’re not able to join us in person but are interested in attending, please let Kristen Romme know as soon as possible (no later than Monday, April 13), so we can arrange virtual access.
Call for Presentations
We are currently seeking presentations for the NLHLA Annual Conference, which will take place this year on Friday, April 17, 2015.
Please consider putting together a presentation on a topic of your choice, whether it be a project from your workplace, your research, a current trend, or changes and challenges facing health libraries and librarians. Our conference does not have a theme—we’re interested in any and all topics that are of interest to you!
You may choose from the following formats:
- Full presentations – a 20-minute presentation and 10 minutes for questions
- Lightning Round presentations – a 5-10 minute presentation
The Lightning Round is ideal for introducing attendees to research or programs that are-in-progress, describing something you tried that didn’t work out, or getting feedback on an idea you’re mulling over.
Please send a brief abstract (1-2 paragraphs) to Kristen Romme (kromme@mun.ca) no later than Friday, March 20, 2015.
Save the Date!
The 2015 NLHLA Conference will be held in the McCann Room (Education Library, Memorial University) on Friday, April 17. A reminder that it’s never too early to start thinking about presentation topics!
More details to follow.
